This is
a brief update regarding the upcoming Summer Extension classes beginning this
Sunday (8/1/2010). Registration is now
open on the website so if you would like to add these classes, please do so as
soon as possible as the first day is Sunday. *If you are currently
attending one of the Summer classes, you will not need
to complete the registration form in its entirety; we will need the
participant’s name, the parent/guardian’s name (where applicable), email
address, and class (level, location, day, time). All others will need to complete the full
registration form.
We
have made some changes to the website so if you find you are having any challenges, please do not hesitate to let us know. The links seem to work correctly in IE however there have been a few
challenges with other browsers. We have
added Google Calendars for all
sessions and office hours on one page, for your convenience. The actual calendar is no longer listed on
each location’s page. Please take note that the Payment Form
is a tad different; you must find the session in which you are enrolling and
use that section to make your payment.
If you do not match the enrollment form and the payment option, you will
end up paying for a session which is not the one you are enrolling.
The next session will be available on our website for you to review and register
your child once we receive the approval from the County. We have requested all classes remain on the
new summer extension days with the session beginning in September and ending prior
to Thanksgiving. We are planning to not hold classes on The County Fair
weekend. Please do remember to register early so we can ensure your
class will not be cancelled due to lack of enrollment. If you have any questions about the
registration process, please contact us, we'd be happy to answer or clarify any
questions you may have for us.
As you know the County controls which pools we are allowed
to utilize for classes; the times of the classes; and the price. When we sent out the last newsletter the
County requested we change the days we are at certain pools. This has, of course, changed once again. The County would like use to remain in Kihei on Sundays and Wednesdays. UpCountry classes will be offered on Thursdays and Saturdays, and Central classes will be offered on Tuesdays and Saturdays. For those of you
who have already registered for one of the days which is
now changed, we will move you to the new day unless you let us know
differently. Again, we apologize for any
inconvenience this is creating for you.
We will be offering the Parent-Infant class and Parent-Toddler
classes at each location, pending enrollment.
If you are unable to
find a class which fits into your schedule, we do have Individual Lessons available. These classes will be 30
minutes and pending the age of the student, may be back-to-back, totaling 60
minutes. Please submit your request form
on-line, but do NOT make any
payments until you receive confirmation from the instructor. Please be sure to read all the
information on this page to ensure you are comfortable with this program, prior
to registering. We are also open to
teaching lessons in your pool, just give us a call to
see what we can set up.
We would love to add new additions to our Adult Classes so please give us
a holler if you are interested. We are
considering creating a seniors class for movement, stretching, and agility, if
that sound intriguing to you, let us know.
